Goals of the Sickle Cell Center of Excellence

• Address health disparities and health inequities that characterize sickle cell disease resources and outcomes

• Train and mentor the next generation of leaders in sickle cell research, clinical care, and community engagement and empowerment
• Contribute to the advancement of knowledge, including etiology, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan
